Commemorative Airforce Airshow is Back!

News

BROWNSVILLE, Texas — After 26 years at the Brownsville South Padre Island Airport, the Commemorative Airforce will host their popular air show at the Port Isabel Cameron County Airport June 22 and 23.

The CAF’s mission is to acquire, restore and preserve in flying condition a complete collection of combat aircraft that were flown by all military services of the United States.

The CAF is also bringing in some of the best aerobatic performers around, a flea market, food and games along with modern military planes.

Gates open at 9 AM, flying starts at noon.

The show relocated after a financial dispute with the Brownsville Airport in 2017 over hangar space.
