Alleged shooter of Texas DPS Trooper has pre-trial hearing pushed back

EDINBURG, Texas – Pre-trial hearings for the alleged shooter of a Texas DPS Trooper have been pushed back. Victor Alejandro Godinez was in court today. He’s charged with Attempted Capital Murder. Godinez allegedly shot DPS Trooper Moises Sanchez in the head at a traffic accident back in April. He’s being held without bond. Pretrial hearing is now set for October 24th.
