Charro Days celebrates the bonds of friendship between Matamoros, Mexico and Brownsville, TX. The tradition began in 1938 and has continued for over eighty years now.

Charro Days begins on Thursday, February 22, 2020 thru March 8, 2020. Below is a list of events occurring during the celebrations.

Charro Days Art Contest February 25th – February 29th Brownsville Museum of Fine Arts, 660 E. Ringgold St.
A Little Bit of Mexico “21 + Event February 23rd – The Arts Center at TSC. Pre-Program 5:30 pm and Program at 7:30 pm. Reserved seats are $20. For more information call 956-546-4486.
Noche Mexicana Thursday, February 27th, 6pm-11pm, Jacob Brown Auditorium
Featuring: Noe Pro and The Band, Folkloric Dancers, Mariachi 7 Leguas and food. Admission $35 tickets required at door.
Fiesta Costume Ball Saturday, February 29th, 8pm-11:30pm, Jacob Brown Auditorium
Featuring: TBA. Admission $30 tickets required at door.
