UTPA Celebrates Homecoming Week Vegas Style

You're looking at Bronc pride in full force. The annual homecoming week is a time when the college community as well as other friends of the University gather on campus to enjoy various activities and celebrate the Edinburg institution. They come from near and far away to reminisce with former classmates and to have fun and meet new friends.

The festivities also include visitors who are loyal contributors and also those want to learn about UT PAN AM, what it has to offer and how they can help current students. This year promises to be much more exciting for everyone especially UTPA Alums.

Homecoming week kicks off February 13th with an Alumni mixer, on February 15th, an alumni ball will honor five outstanding alums as pillars of success and feature a "VIVA LAS VEGAS" CASINO THEME.

On February 16th Bronc Sports fans will want to attend the morning induction of th athletics hall of fame class of 2013 and the ceremony to retire the jersey worn by Basketball great Luke "BigJack" Johnson. Beginning at 3:00pm, the valley community is invited to bring their favorite food and beverages and join the Bronc madness tailgate held at the fieldhouse parking lot attend the women and men's basketball ball games. homecoming week wraps up February 17th with the class of 1960 50+ reunion champagne brunch.
