I'm excited to be here in the Rio Grande Valley, I work out of KVEO Newscenter 23's upper valley newsroom and live in McAllen.

I grew up in Oregon, but wanted to escape the rain and made my way to Miami, Florida for college.

Before coming to Newscenter 23, I worked as a reporter in several markets across the U.S. My first position in news was at WSVN Channel 7 in Miami, Florida, where I worked as a writer.

Growing up, one of my biggest accomplishments was being selected to play on a JR National Volleyball team, It was an amazing experience. I could have played in college but instead focused on my studies.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Business Journalism from Florida International University.

Some of my favorite hobbies include working out, windsurfing, and checking out new restaurants.
