Jan. 11, 2010

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Texas-Pan American's Aleeya Grigsby scored 27 points and grabbed 25 rebounds in two wins last week to earn Great West Conference Player of the Week honors. The award was announced Monday by the conference office.

She followed that up with a double-double performance at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, posting 18 points and 14 rebounds. The 6-0 forward also recorded two blocks and three steals and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line in the Lady Broncs 84-76 win over the Islanders.
