Port Isabel's C.J. Boyd and Blake Sapp

Congratulations to Port Isabel Tarpons C.J. “Running Wild” Boyd and Blake “Runaway” Sapp for being the Chevy Players Of The Week.
On a cold night “Running Wild” Boyd & “Runaway” Sapp burn the Bobcats for over 300 yards combined. Now The Big Blue will host Robstown Friday night in a Class Division II Bi-District Game.
 

The offensive line known as The Pancake Crew open up some big holes for C.J. “Running Wild” Boyd.
Blake “Runaway” Sapp came into the game telling his teammates not to get caught up in the pressure. Just go out and have fun. C.J. “Running Wild” Boyd who had 187 yards rushing with 2 touchdowns & 1 catch for 55 yards with
1 touchdowns. Blake “Runaway” Sapp had 131 yards rushing with2 touchdowns. With less then nine minutes left in the game “Runaway” Sapp took control and ran down the field for a score. To put the icing on the cake. Congratulations to Port Isabel Tarpons C.J. “Running Wild” Boyd and Blake “Runaway” Sapp for being the Chevy Players Of The Week. And congratulations to the Big Blue for beating Rio Hondo 35-21 and for being co-district champs in district 32-3A.
