Pace Vikings Sam “The Man” Trejo

Congratulations to Pace Vikings Sam “The Man” Trejo for being the Chevy player of the week.
The Vikings are tied for first place in District 32-5A. And one big reason is junior running back  Sam “The Man” Trejo who has 40 more carries than anyone Else in District 32-5A. The Vikings set sail Friday night  In San Benito as they beat the Greyhounds 26-11. Coach Rene Medrano had this to say about Sam “The Man”.

The game was tight until the 3rd quarter. That’s when The Viking regroup and started to move the ball down  The field. Sam “The Man” was given the ball 8 times on That drive till he found the end zone from 6 yards out. The Vikings are 2-0 in district play Coach what are you Telling the players?

Sam “The Man” Trejo had 156 yards on 30 carries and  2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter. On the season he has  694 yards on 114 carries and 7 touchdowns. Congratulations to Pace Vikings for beating San Benito 26-11 and being 2-0 in District 32-5A.  And congratulations to Sam “The Man” Trejo for being the Chevy player of the week.
