One Valley star is traveling to Austin to take on the best of the Lone Star state discus competition.

Rivera's Laura Ochoa is representing Rivera high school in the discus throw at the state level track competition in Austin. On her final throw in the regional competition she threw her best to advance to state. She will be competing on Saturday morning.
