CAMP INFORMATION!

Baby Bronc
July 20 9 am-4 pm (1hr Lunch Break)
July 21 9 am-12 Noon
**Ages 10-14
Baby Bronc Camp focuses on the individual development of each player by simplifying and teaching specific court skills and movements associated with the game. Topics include serving, passing, setting, hitting and blocking.

Senior High Camp
July 15-17 9 am-4 pm (1hr Lunch Break)
*For Players entering the 11th grade and up
UTPA Senior High Camp is designed for the experienced players entering their junior or senior year in high school. The Campers will have the opportunity to receive specialized technical instruction by position and have a better understanding of the game.

Team Camp
July 21 Camp Check-in 1pm
Camp begins at 2:00 pm -6:00 pm
July 22-23 9 am - 4 pm (1hr Lunch Break)
July 24 9-12 Noon
*For High School Teams
(Min 8 players/ Max 12)
UTPA coaches will guide your team through tactics and techniques to put your team ahead of your opponents. Topics include team offense, team defense, and team serve receive. Each team will be provided with a head coach and be involved in team bonding activities. Lunch will be provided for Team Camp only.

CAMP REMINDERS
Meals
Lunch will not be provided. Campers will be given an hour for lunch. Parents may pick up their child up or send them with a packed lunch.
Equipment/Clothing
Participants must wear athletic attire and shoes. Knee pads and ankle braces if available, towel and water bottle are recommended.
Facilities
The University of Texas Pan American Volleyball Camps will be conducted in the UTPA Fieldhouse.

Meet the Bronc Coaching Staff...
Angela Hubbard
Head Coach (3rd Season)
Hubbard is in her 3rd season as Head Volleyball Coach at The University of Texas Pan American. She is the youngest Div I Head Volleyball Coach
In her tenure the Broncs have went 23-35 and she has overseen 3 All-Independent Team members, 2 players of the week and 11 All-Academic selections. In Hubbard’s 1st season the Broncs beat UTSA for the first time in 28 tries and took 1st place at the PVAMU Tournament.
Hubbard a 2 year letter winner at Cedar Valley College where she garnered All-Conference, All-Region and All-American honors as an outside hitter and a 2 year letter winner at The University of West Georgia where she played OH and Libero, still holding the record for digs in a 3 set match, is hands on in every aspect of camp.

Laura De La Fuente
Assistant Coach (2nd Season)
Laura is entering her 2nd season with the Broncs where she assists in every aspect of the program.
The UTPA assistant coach played 2 seasons for Panola Junior College before transferring to Prairie View A&M University. As the starting setter she led the Panthers to a Southwest Conference Championship and a first round appearance in the NCAA Div I Tournament against Big XII opponent Texas.
