Hidalgo's Soccer star Jesus Mireles playing career took a turn for the worse...

STORY: i'm angry -- this is not soccer...
RGV Bravos Salvidor Luna responds to watching the take-down video of his current teammate, former Hidalgo Pirates sensation Chuy.
The 17 year old is recovering from surgery today -- Mireles is out for the season as result this tackle last Friday, in Laredo.

SOT: poor play otherwise he wouldn't have broken his leg
SOT: it'sa tough situation to be in
TRACK: In seven games, Mireles scored two goals and had an assist -- but jersey number 15 will on longer be on the field.
While he will be missed, 25 other names appear on the Valley pro soccer team's roster
SOT: it's a new team with the old mentality

TRACK: this weekend provides a tough schedule -- Saturday division leading Austin visits the Valley -- and on Sunday, Laredo is in town in the first matchup between the teams since Mireles injury...
