Former Dallas Cowboy to Coach At McAllen Rowe?

Clint Finley is up for the McAllen Rowe Athletic Coordinator and Head Football coaching position. Finley is currently the Defensive coordinator at Victoria Memorial. He played in high school as a standout QB at Cuero, won a national championship with Nebraska in 1997 then played off and on four years as a Cowboys and Chiefs safety. Now, Finley is one of 24 applicants that also includes former Dorados head coach Marty Hammond, and Valley names such as Robert Valdez and Jorge Pena. A committee will interview the candidates next week and plan to bring a name to the school board either January 25th or February 8th.
