Beatles 'Number 9' And Longhorns

POSTED: Monday, November 9, 2009 - 7:44pm

UPDATED: Thursday, February 25, 2010 - 12:34pm

The Beatles would be pleased with what Colt McCoy did with the Number 9. The Longhorns QB completed passes to 9 different receivers, throwing only 9 incomplete passes and helping the Longhorns improve to 9-and-0 on the season. McCoy tossed a career best 470 yards, Jordan Shipley on the receiving end of 273 of those yards, setting a new school record.
