SULLIVAN CITY - In the Upper Valley, Sullivan City Police seized about 400 pounds of pot after a high speed chase.
Monday night, Sullivan City Police tried to pull over a car, but instead the driver decided to speed off.
The police officers chased the car down West Expressway 83... eventually it crashed into a tree.
The person driving was able to then run away.
"We located in the vehicle 13 bundles, total weighed 373 pounds of marijuana," said Sergeant David Rocha, Sullivan City Police.
U.S. Border Patrol later found the suspect, 37, Jorge Lee Avande, in a 25 foot hole unconscious.
Avande was airlifted to the hospital and later arrested by the Sullivan Police Department for evading arrest and possession of marijuana.
