Donations pour in to replace charity gifts ruined by skunk.
A community in central Oklahoma isn't letting a skunk from stink up Christmas for a group of needy children.
Thousands of dollars of toys meant for underprivileged kids were sprayed by the skunk while in storage.
A local restoration company attempted to deodorize the toys, but weren't able to remove the stench.
Charity organizers were forced to destroy the smelly donations.
Thanks to the kindness of strangers the story has a happy ending for the nearly 750 children meant to receive those toys.
After word of the skunk's work spread, new donations poured in.
Operation Christmas handed out toys and food on schedule Friday to grateful families.
