Tomorrow Lower Valley residents and veterans are coming together to remember a day which will live in infamy.
The Veterans War Memorial of Texas is holding a ceremony for the anniversary of the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.
A few World War II veterans will be attending and will be available for questions after the ceremony.
The even is open to all, especially children that are learning American History.
Those planning the event said remembering history is important to this country's survival.
"I think the important this is, is that when you remember all these historical events, they prepare you for the future," said Frank Plummer, Veterans War Memorial of Texas President.
The service will start at 10:00 a.m. and last for about an hour. It will take place outside at the Veterans War Memorial in McAllen.
