Customs and Border Protection officers seized close to 1,200 pounds of marijuana south of Alamo.
On Thursday, Customs and Border Patrol agents saw a group of men loading drugs into a Chevy Astro and after being spotted the suspects drove the van toward the Rio Grande river and got away. Agents found 78 bundles that are estimated to be worth $1 million dollars.
