If you've got kids they may need more shots in the next school year. The state Health Services is changing school immunization requirements that take effect on August 1st.
The department says changes will mostly affect those entering kindergarten and seventh grade. All immunization must be completed by the first day of school and the new requirements are for five vaccines including hepatitis A, measles, mumps, rubella and tetanus shots.
For more information on the specific requirements call the State Health Department at 1.888.963.7111.
