Benjamin Ortega was arrested by police over the weekend after threatening and chasing a family member with a machete.
Police report that Ortega had allegedly been drinking at the time he grabbed the weapon. Another man in the home was able to take the machete from Ortega and held him until police arrived. Ortega was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and his bond was set at $25,000 dollars.
