Ten cottages lit up at Dean Porter Park on Monday evening with many residents attending the annual Holiday Village lighting ceremony.
The cottages included a replica of the Brownsville's founding families Stillman house, a cathedral, bank, dental office, diner, Plaza Fiesta and even a bakery. The village will remain open to the public until January 1st. The cottages were designed by local architects and were constructed and decorated by sponsors and volunteers. The village will be open to the public until 10 PM nightly.
