Ronald McDonald Room Opens at Local Hospital

The Ronald McDonald Family House Room is now available for use at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

For families of children who are receiving care at the children's unit the new room is the second of five family rooms that will be built at various hospitals around the Valley. A grandmother, whose been here with her granddaughter since Monday, says she believes a room like this will be a lifesaver for family and parents of these pediatric patients.
