He's stolen thousand of dollars in cash and merchandise in two burglaries and now the Brownsville police need your help identifying the suspect. Officer Jose Trevino, from the Brownsville P.D., has more in this week's Crime of the Week report.
Police need your help is solving the burglary of the Dollar Store located at 1304 Central Blvd. The burglary took place on Thursday October 21st at around 1:50 AM. An unknown individual gained access to the rear of the building by making a hole through the wall. Subject disabled the cameras and then took over $2,000 dollars from the office safe.
Earlier that night, at around 1:30 AM, there was another burglary at Gio's Pizza Restaurant located at 2325 Central Blvd. in which the same method was used to gain access to the building. A Dell laptop computer and an undetermined amount of cash was taken from the business. Police believe that these two burglaries might be related.
