La Joya Police Shoot Car's Tires to End Car Chase

Another wild car chase in La Joya on Friday morning as one car didn't want to stop for a traffic violation, so police took an aggressive approach by shooting one of the tires to stop the car.

The chase started around 6:20 on Friday morning off Mile Three road and Jara Chinas road. Once police shot one of the tires, police were able to catch up with the vehicle. One person was arrested and was turned over to Border Patrol and about six people were believed to be in the car with five getting away.
