Winter Texans will soon be making their way to the Rio Grande Valley, but with all the border violence happening, we asked a local tour agency if they've seen a decline in business because of the violence.
Winter Texan Budget Tours in McAllen says no. The owner of the business says that the only reason why Winter Texans won't come down to the Valley would be because of the economy. We spoke to a customer at the agency, who did not want to be on camera, say that mostly 90% of Winter Texans will come down this winter. The owner says that there is no extreme violence happening in the Valley, compared to what's happening in Reynosa, Mexico and that should not affect his business. Winter Texans usually make their way to the Valley right after the Thanksgiving holiday and stay until April.
