Custom agents at the Laredo port of entry have seized more than $12 million dollars worth of heroin making it the largest heroin seizure in the history of the port.
The driver, a 41 year-old U.S. citizen from Arlington and was arrested. In the second bust Custom agents found several pounds of heroin inside a taxi cab which was crossing through the Hidalgo bridge. About 10 pounds of the drug was found inside suitcases and a 23 year-old U.S. citizen from Waco was arrested.
