The City of Edinburg was recognized on Monday by the Milken Institute as one of the best performing cities in the country.
The city was named number four in the nation for the increase of jobs, quality of life and growth. Edinburg has created more than 1,600 jobs within the last few months. City officials are looking to what this recognition may bring in the future. City officials anticipate more growth for the city and hope to add more jobs by the end of this year.
