The cases of the H1N1 virus, or swine flu, are still rising and according to the CDC, there are now 896 confirmed cases in the U.S., and 925 probable cases in 41 states.
CDC officials say less than 10% of cases are linked to travel to Mexico, meaning the virus is rapidly spreading throughout the country. Plans for a vaccine and a possible pandemic in the fall are actively underway. Officials say now is the time for communities, businesses and individuals to prepare if the virus does come back stronger in the fall.
