The Edinburg Fire Chief stated that a Edinburg school bus was involved in a accident that sent five people to the hospital.
The accident happened on Chapin road near the frontage of U.S. 281 when it was heading east on Chapin when it collided with a Ford Mustang around 5:30 PM. Two children in the bus were taken to the hospital for observation and three individuals in the Mustang were also sent to the hospital with injuries.
