The Cameron County Sheriff's Department is trying to turn over thousands of dollars in stolen property to the rightful owners after arresting three suspects involved in a burglary ring, Na'Tassia Finley has more.
Behind apartment door's 5 and 8, police were able to recover thousand of dollars worth of stolen merchandise from plasma TV's, laptops, tools, tires and other valuables from burglaries in Cameron Park. The suspects arrested were Rolando Torres and Jay Leo & Elvita Gonzales, who were renting those apartments, and believed to be the suspects in several home burglaries in Cameron Park.
Police had a search warrant, which was executed at Rancho Viejo Apartments located in Cameron Park. Police also found cocaine and marijuana in the apartments suspect the stolen merchandise was used in exchange for drugs. The trio were charged with possession of a controlled substance and theft and possession of stolen property.
