City of Alton Receives U.S.D.S Grant for Businesses

The City of Alton has received thousands of dollars, thanks to the U.S.D.A., for small businesses after the city qualified for some grants. The funds come from the Rural Business Enterprise Grant which is aimed at financing and facilitating the development of small and emerging rural businesses.
