A plane carrying former Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, former NASA chief Sean O'Keefe and seven others has crashed near Dillingham, Alaska.
Rescue teams on the ground are treating survivors at the crash site and have said there are potential fatalities.
The crash was reported Monday evening when a pilot spotted wreckage on the ground, but severe weather kept rescuers away until early Tuesday morning.
