Plans for beefing up security along our borders continue. This is the third meeting between several law enforcement agencies including, The Cameron County Sheriff's Department, Brownsville, San Benito and Harlingen Police, U.S. Border Patrol, Customs and Coastguard.
There is already a security plan in place in each agency but the emphasis now is for all agencies to cooperate and communicate with each other in case there is a spill over of violence from Mexico.
After the agencies agree on one plan, they will hold training sessions to beef up border security.
