The US Department of State issued a revised travel warning for US citizens crossing into Mexico because of the ongoing violence across the border. The warning is for Tijuana, Nogales, Ciudad Juarez, Nuevo Laredo, Monterrey, and Matamoros.
In the warning it tells about narcotic related violence and fire fights in cities like Matamoros. We spoke with some people who say they continue to cross but will be very cautious when in Mexico.
