In Houston, Governor Rick Perry is turning down millions in stimulus money headed towards the State of Texas.
Governor Perry made the announcement on Thursday rejecting around $555 million dollars that would have expanded the state unemployment benefits. The Governor said if he accepted the unemployment money, it would require the state to increase taxes on businesses to fund the program.
