According to El Manana and other media outlets in Mexico suspected drug cartel members and federal police were involved in a bloody shoot out late Saturday night in Reynosa.
Witnesses tell El Manana that military authorities were tailing a black SUV, but it quickly turned into a shoot out on Acapulco boulevard. At least three men are dead and several others injured. Witnesses say the bodies were on the ground in front of the Paradise Hotel in Reynosa and police seized weapons including automatic assault rifles and grenades.
El Manana is also reporting a 19 and 20 year-old were arrested in connection with the shoot out and the official version of what happened has not been released by authorities.
