Border Patrol seizes $5 million dollars in narcotics.

Border Patrol agents seized more than 7,000 pounds of marijuana during the Memorial Day weekend. Last Saturday, agents seized more than three tons of marijuana and multiple seizures took place across the Valley from Rio Grande City to Weslaco and north to the Falfurrias checkpoint. The total amount of seizures is estimated to be around $5 million dollars.
