Memorial Day on South Padre Island

Some South Padre Island businesses saw an increase of tourist on the Island over the Memorial Day weekend. Vacationers on the island enjoyed a clear sky and warm day while they also remembered thier own experiences in the military, or loved ones. They said they were thankful to all soldiers who fought so that they could enjoy their freedom, new marriages and new engagements on the beaches of South Padre Island.
