Hollywood Video Store chain has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and have been preparing to close some stores located in Brownsville, McAllen, Weslaco and Harlingen in a few weeks. The company reports that the stores were not profitable and stiff competition from other movie rental business have played a role in their profits.
