A Harlingen man was sentenced to 18 years in prison for the sexual assault of an 8 year-old child. Jose Luis Martinez entered a guilty plea to seven counts of sexual assault of a child in District Court. Investigators say the assaults occurred over a five year period at Martinez's home.
