Two 10 year-old boys were caught dealing drugs at an Edcouch middle school and Michelle Macias spoke to the Police Chief about the crime and the shock from the community .
It's rare for the Edcouch Police Department to deal with two 10 year-old boys who were selling drugs at their middle school to classmates. The boys attend David Ybarra Middle school and were caught selling bags of marijuana in the hallways of the school. They were caught by school staff during the transaction of a drug sale and taken into custody by police. Police and school staff are not sure how long the boys have been selling drugs at the school, but believe someone older than the boys are involved.
The boys were released to their parents and the Hidalgo County Juvenile authorities have now taken over the case.
