Inmates escape from prison unit near San Antonio.

Two inmates are on the loose at this time after escaping from a prison southwest of San Antonio. Texas Department of  Criminal Justice authorities reported that 21 year-old Jose Bustos Diaz and 27 year-old Octavio Ramos Lopez escaped after cutting through a fence at the Brisco Unit in Dilley.

Bustos Diaz is serving 35 years for a Harris county murder and Lopez is serving 20 years for two counts of aggravated kidnapping and another 12 years for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.
