(KSNV) Heavy rain on Nevada's Mount Charleston created a mud flow affecting dozens of homes on Monday.
Flash flooding washed out roads and pushed rocks and rubble into homes.
The path to April Johansen's house in the Lower Rainbow subdivision is
"This is my house, my whole lower floor is totaled," she says.
She and her neighbors are seeing their homes destroyed by a debris flow.
"Last year looked like a joke compared to this one," Johansen says. "I heard all the debris crashing against the wall and the house and it was going around both sides of the house the river was raging around the entire property so it would be impossible to evacuate."
