SAN JUAN, TX ( KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — San Juan investigators have arrested the final two suspects wanted for robbing a day care center in May.
Raul Ramirez and Rogelio Gallegos Jr. are charged with burglary of a building after both men turned themselves into police yesterday.
Investigators say they are members of the Valluco gang, one of the more prominent gangs in the Valley.
Two other suspects were previously arrested for this same crime--one of those men was a former employee of Little School House Day Care.
The robbery took place on May 18 during the early morning hours.
Surveillance video reveals the suspects stole two televisions, a laptop, and two boxes of documents containing personal information of the day care employees.
"That's one of our great concerns is that any time there is personal information out there, especially our region and proximity to the border," said Sgt. Rolando Garcia with the San Juan Police Department. "They sell those documents to people who get into the country illegally and want to have good legitimate information, so that's something that we're trying to get."
The two suspects charged today each received a bond set at $250,000.
San Juan investigators are continuing to monitor the indentity theft situation and hope to reclaim those stolen documents.
