"Happy 'Below Normal' Fifth of May!" What an absolutely beautiful day for Cinco de Mayo. What made the day so nice was that the high temperatures were a little below nomal for this time of year.
Brownsville's high was 84 when normal is 87. McAllen's high was 87 when normal is 90. Harlingen was right at normal with a high of 89.
In addition to the partly cloudy skies, the winds felt refreshing too.
But highs will climb on Tuesday. Expect a high of 88 in the Lower Valley, 95 in the Upper. The winds will be a bit stronger from the SE at 10-35 mph.
The next important day this week is Sunday, Mother's Day. To see my long range forecast so you know just how to treat mom, please click here.. http://www.kveo.com/weather
