The World Health Organization is recommending that the 2010 flu vaccine include protection against the 2009 H1N1 virus.
With two separate vaccines this past season, people needed to get two doses and children needed three. The new recommendation, drug makers that still have bulk H1N1 vaccine, will be able to use it for the 2010-2011 flu vaccine. It's still unclear whether flu strains will be combined into one shot, or split into two.
