Notice that these beautiful birds are looking to the North and East. Coincidence? I think not!
They know that the cold front is coming from the northeast. The NE winds will range from 10-30 mph and will be a welcome relief from the record heat over the last few days.
On Wednesday, the highs will only climb to 82 in the Lower Valley, 85 in the Upper. Skies will be mostly sunny, so it's the perfect day to preen one's feathers in the beautiful weather.
But you may need those feathers on Thursday when highs only climb to the upper 70s in the Lower Valley.
