EDINBURG, TX (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — More people are in jail for the investigation into the Edinburg Police Officer that was shot.
Four more men were arrested this week. One was taken in on Monday and three more were arrested on Tuesday. It brings the total number in the case to ten people.
The four brought to court on Wednesday all face charges of criminal attempt of capital murder and aggravated robbery.
Investigators wouldn't confirm their roles in last week's shooting of the police officer. Police officials say they all either took part in the shooting, the planning or the cover up of the crime.
Arrested were Juan Manuel Teran, 27 of McAllen; Julio Cesar Delira, 33, of Edinburg; Margarito Hernandez Barrientos, 23, of McAllen; and Oziel Fuentes, 26, of Edinburg.
