The economic meltdown is not only affecting employees but those who help the unemployed as well.
According to Executive Director Francisco Castaneda, Workforce Solutions in Cameron County had its budget cut by more than a million dollars and like any other major company will have to cut spending and jobs.
Cameron county isn't the only one in distress, Hidalgo, Starr and Willacy county have also had budget cuts of more than $3 million dollars and nationwide its been over $200 million dollars. All 28 Workforce Solution locations in the state of Texas have been affected.
