Near Lyford a rancher found a human skull and bones it's a discovery that may help authorities answer questions in the case of a missing woman from Mission.
Saturday the skull and bones were found east of Lyford, and they may belong to Josephina Lugo, a woman persecutors say was killed by her husband and stepson..
Back in September police recovered an arm belonging to Lugo in Willacy County.
Mission Police say that the bones were around 40 miles apart from each other.
The bones may have traveled down the canal.
The skull and bones will be sent to a lab for analysis.
Mission Police say the results may take a couple weeks.
