A Harlingen man is behind bars after confessing to having a sexual relationship with a 14 year-old girl.
Police arrested 38 year-old Lourdez Cortez Del Angel over the weekend and charged him with sexual assault of a child. The teen's mother reported the relationship between her daughter and Del Angel, which she says happened, at a home on East Pierce street. Judge Valerie Garcia set Del Angel's bond at $40,000 dollars.
